Zonk Privacy Policy

Zonk does not require an app account. Alarm settings, onboarding state, wake streaks, app-blocking settings, and app preferences are stored on your device or in the app group used by the app and its Screen Time extensions.

Zonk uses a random installation ID for analytics, support, purchases, and backend requests. It is not your Apple ID, email address, or name.

Photo verification

When you complete an AI verification task, Zonk sends the captured proof image and task prompt to our verification endpoint. The endpoint forwards the request to an AI provider and returns a pass or fail result.

We do not intentionally keep proof photos on Zonk servers after the verification response is returned.

App blocking

If you enable app blocking, Zonk uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks to store opaque tokens for the apps, categories, or websites you select. Zonk uses those tokens only to apply your Night Lock and Morning Lock shields. Zonk does not inspect the contents of your apps or browsing activity.

Purchases

Zonk Premium purchases may be handled by Apple StoreKit, RevenueCat, or Stripe depending on where the subscription is started. Zonk does not receive your Apple ID password or full payment card details.

For eligible U.S. users, Zonk may offer a web checkout link. The app only shows that link after the backend confirms checkout is available.

Analytics

Zonk may use privacy-conscious product analytics to understand whether onboarding, alarms, app blocking, verification, and purchase flows work. We avoid sending proof photos, raw selected app names, custom wake-task text, emails, phone numbers, or payment details as analytics events.

Your choices and deletion

You can delete local Zonk data from Profile in the app. That removes alarms, wake streaks, onboarding state, app-blocking selections, and cached analytics events from your device. Deleting the app also removes most local app data.

Subscriptions and payment records are managed by the provider used at checkout. Use Profile to manage subscriptions, or contact support@deep24.ai for provider-side data questions tied to your anonymous support ID.
